Overview

With a long standing history of innovations in high throughput DNA sequencing technologies and large scale genomic analysis, JCVI continues to drive the advancements of genomics research.   The key technology platforms on which we have built our accomplishments include high throughput DNA sequencing and informatics pipelines.  These pipelines have been custom-designed and implemented by JCVI scientific and technical staff to support the ongoing and new genomic research projects at JCVI.  As capabilities and opportunities in genomic science and technology continue to evolve rapidly, our management of technology platforms is designed to not only remain responsive to new technology developments but to anticipate them either by proactively engaging technology leaders in the academic and commercial sectors or by developing and demonstrating the technologies ourselves.
