Influenza Research Database

What is it?

The Influenza Research Database (IRD; www.fludb.org) is a publicly available, NIAID-sponsored one-stop database and analysis resource that supports influenza research. IRD integrates data from public repositories, direct submissions, and internal curation and analysis pipelines, and provides a suite of bioinformatics analysis and visualization tools to expedite influenza virus research.

What can you do?

  • Search, analyze, and visualize influenza virus data from a single integrated database
  • Study evolution of influenza virus
  • Conduct comparative genomic studies
  • Predict new targets for diagnostics, prophylactics, vaccines, and therapeutics
