White Papers
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID)/NIH/DHHS Pathogen Functional Genomics Resource Center (PFGRC) at the J. Craig Venter Institute (JCVI) supports "White Papers" in the areas of Gene Expression studies, Comparative Genomics, Gene Knock Outs, Proteomics and Bioinformatics as well as associated methodologies and technologies. It is our desire to continue to identify the most relevant resources and collaborative opportunities between the scientific community and our Center.
The PFGRC makes its resources, technology platforms, and scientific and technical expertise available for functional genomics and proteomics studies for the purpose of developing genomic/proteomic data sets of broad interest and value to the scientific community. To this end, the "White Paper" concept is designed to provide outreach to the scientific community such that investigators can propose collaborative projects that are responsive to the greater resource and research needs of the infectious disease and biodefense communities utilizing the extensive resources and expertise provided by the PFGRC.
